So intimate! Our guides were friendly, knowledgeable and ooze love for all sea creatures. Nothing like a morning on the water with dolphins and whales. Take your non-drowsy motion sickness meds before you get there because you will float on the waves when you are watching the shows. Highly recommend hanging for lunch in Lahaina- this community is rebounding and it’s lovely!

Lexi and Megan were great guides. The boat ride was so much fun. Whale watching is a game of patience, timing, and luck; we did still get to see some whales of varying levels of up close. The guides were very knowledgeable and personable. You don't get very wet on the boat. Even though the company is small, they were very organized. The trip was good. I wouldn’t say great. I did appreciate that when an emergency came up last minute, they allowed us to reschedule. However, as far as the tour itself, I found it difficult to hear just about everything the captain or marine biologist were saying. They needed to speak louder or use a microphone. I would have appreciated more information on the whales and even getting to hear them more. I did request to hear them at one point and they put the microphone out for about 45 seconds.

We did the whale watching trip during our trip to Lahaina. It was amazing, pretty small boat, about 12 passengers. Although it was very rough getting out of the harbor, we got down to the south coast of Maui pretty quickly, and found a humpback and her calf. Our crew thought the calf was likely under a week old, and since they were mostly on the surface, we could see a lot. Experience of a lifetime!! Captain Derek and his first mate were excellent! The whales came so close to the boat we could smell their breath as the exhaled.

Ultimate Indeed! It’s not everyday you get close up and personal with humpbacks. I was even able to take a selfie with a female humpback. Captain Johnny and Casey were extremely knowledgeable about whales. They were also dedicated in making sure we all had amazing whale encounters. And we sure did.
