Absolutely amazing time sailing the Pacific, whale watching, dolphin chasing, and snorkeling. The staff was incredibly kind, helpful and wonderful in every way. The food on board was world class, literally best muffins I've ever eaten! The boat was not overcrowded and the atmosphere was always upbeat and fun. Great for families of all ages although probably best for kids over 10 as the snorkeling is a little intensive. We were out for over 5 hours. What a deal for the price!

Captain Brandon was very professional and approachable. Mixed history, geography, and biology lessons into the entertaining commentary. Mates Joe and Kins (sp?) were courteous and quick to make the experience enjoyable. Thanks for a great time. Oh yeah, and we got to see whales!!

Firstly, the staff was a 10!!!! They made our trip fun and safe and educational!!! We were a group ranging from 3 years old to 63 years old and we all had a blast!!!!

Unreal experience. Crew was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. I’d do this every year we come here! I cannot recommend this tour, Sail Maui, and the crew we had enough!

Not listed for Sail Maui, but it was actually the Akialoa Sunset Sail The crew were exceptional…Captain Geoffrey from Franceland, and mates, Kanes & another busy sailor. I can tell you that after all passengers zoomed topside to view not 1, but 7 Humpbacks, the unnamed crewman mopped up a kids spilled soda, coating the galley floor, and rinsed the sticky liquid off customer’s flip flops. My sister and I loved our Morning Whale Watch. We have not been able to sail out of Lahaina Harbor before and we were happy to see that the harbor was back open. We saw lots of whales and quite a few whales breaching near the boat! The guides were very informative and happy to answer any questions. This is our second time sailing with Sail Maui and we will definitely sail with them again.

Had an amazing experience. The catamaran was so much fun and so relaxing. We were able to see several whales which was truly amazing to see up close. The Captain and crew were so great. This was one of the highlights of our Maui vacation. Loved being able to support the businesses in Lahaina. Would highly recommend this excursion.

As a Maui resident who has been on many whale watches and ocean excursions over the years, I can honestly say that Sail Maui’s Akiola is my absolute favorite. Every trip is beautiful, but this last outing was one of the best yet. We saw an incredible number of whales, and the entire experience felt special from start to finish. On top of that, it’s an excellent value and one of the best whale watch experiences on Maui for the price. Even if you don’t see whales, the trip is still worth taking. C
