Our family had an amazing time! Crystal clear waters, dozens of different reef fishes, friendly and happy crew. We even saw spinner dolphins! No whales or sharks. My husband and I did SNUBU, first time, would definitely do again because it gave us a much better view of the wildlife.

Can't recommend Fairwinds enough! This is the 4th snorkel cruise we've taken with them in a decade. We always come back. Staff is courteous, friendly and all around good people. Boat is in great condition, bathrooms are nice. Not only did we go to Capt Cook for amazing snorkeling, they were in contact with the Hula Kai who let them know where some "dorsal fins" were spotted. I came to Kona specifically for the Mantas so I researched loads of Manta Tours before choosing this one. After booking numerous locals told me I had booked the right one. It was professional and easy to find. They provide all snorkeling gear & wetsuits and all of the staff were cheerful and kind. Theres a private waiting area with a gift shop with plenty of souvenirs. The check in was quick and easy and the boat ride was about 10min. It took longer for the safety briefing than it did to get to

This our second time doing the snorkeling experience- we have had a fantastic time every time! The crew is friendly and knowledgeable and the food delicious— and the snorkeling always a pleasure:) kids enjoyed the slides and high jump- thanks again!

The experience was great but the allotted time for snorkeling was too short. Need to add 30 minutes, so that everyone could enjoy the slides. The hummus and sweet potato chips were delicious.

This was one of the highlights of our Big Island vacation. The staff was super friendly, and very patient with people who were inexperienced at snorkeling. They offer options for people of all experience levels, from view boxes for those who are hesitant to even stick their face in the water, to float equipment for fun or comfort, all the way up to Snuba for those feeling more adventurous. We had such a good time aboard the Hula Kai with our party of 5. The food was delicious!! Because we avoid single-use plastic, we usually have to bring our own cups and utensils, so it was so nice to just show up knowing they supply all reusable foodware. The staff was friendly, the snorkeling was lovely, and we had so much fun speeding through the wind and getting sprayed.

Our Kona Coast Snorkel tour was a great experience. It was a nice relaxing tour along the coast searching for marine mammals while being served beverages and breakfast on the way to our first snorkel location (chosen for the best conditions for the particular day).
